This cute mare will win everyone’s heart with her big open eyes & her big heart. Pála is a tolting machine that will effortlessly keep a strong tolt. She is light on the reins & sensitive to the seat. Even though cautious with new people, she will give everyone who makes her feel at ease a chance. Pála is the perfect match for an confident, intermediate rider who likes to build a relationship with a sensitive horse that has great gaits, endless go & great work ethic. Pála has successfully competed in Icelandic horse shows & drill teams & will make a good mount for a wide range of other riding activities. If paired with the right rider, this mare will be able to show her true value & be a faithful, devoted partner.

UPDATE 11/10/14: Pála has turned into one of the favorite riding horses here at the barn. Her easy & clear gaits & her sensitivity to the cues are a pleasure to ride. She is the kind of horse that "reads your mind". She is now at ease around people & can be ridden by all kinds of riders. Her comfortable gaits, endless tolt & great energy make her an excellent trail horse. In a group or by herself - she likes the trails & doesn't mind traffic, bikes or dogs. We have even taken her hunting, where she saw wildlife & heard shots. Since Pála joined our herd she has also participated in drill teams in front of big audiences, several clinics & has travelled to the KY Icelandic horse show with us. She loads without issues, travels well, stands well for the farrier & the vet. She is UTD on vaccines, deworming & teeth.

Skjoni is a young gelding with striking looks & a charming personality. He loves attention & will come up in the pasture to greet everyone. Skjoni has proven to be a smart horse that tries hard & is fun to work with. He has been ridden on the trails by himself & with other horses. He is a great trail horse with a great energy - forward thinking, but very adjustable & controlable in his speed in any situation.

This petite mare is a sweetheart that always tries her best. She has a high-stepping walk, nice tolt & a comfortable & beautiful trot with big front leg action. Hera has done well in Icelandic horse shows. She is always respectful & gentle & will need someone that treats her the same way.
